Founder & Director of Tennis At Nima Tennis, we are proud to be led by founder and director Nima Roshan, whose passion for tennis, commitment to player development and an exceptional member experience have made him a trusted name in international tennis coaching. With a career that spans the globe and touches every level of the game—from beginners to the professional circuit—Nima offers a world class standard of coaching.
Nima’s journey through tennis is as distinguished as it is diverse. A former Australian top 30 and world top 200 ranked player on the ATP & ITF Pro Tour, his playing career also includes standout achievements in American NCAA tennis, along with elite-level club, high school and junior tournament competition. Over the last two decades, Nima has held prominent leadership roles in Australia and the USA including, Head Pro at Radley Run Country Club, Director of Racquets at Concord Country Club, and Director of Tennis & Club Coach at Canterbury Tennis Club. His move to establish Nima Tennis at CTC represents a new chapter in elite coaching in the area. Nima Tennis brings cutting-edge methodology, a world class level of coaching and expertise, development pathways, social tennis events and a deep respect for the traditions of the sport. Our programs are designed for all ages and levels to ensure our players benefit from the progression of their tennis and fitness. Nima shares his passion for tennis with his wife, Nora and their two sons who all love playing tennis at the club with friends and family and in competition. |
Nora Anthony
Operations Manager Nora Anthony is an experienced and qualified operations manager, with a bachelors in Business Management. In her professional career, she has held management positions at the Australian Taxation Office and IT companies in the US. Nora's tennis journey started in her late 20's when she met her now husband Nima. She learned all about tennis while traveling with him on the pro tour through the US, Asia, and Europe. Nora was inspired to start lessons, classes, and competitive play in the US, which she continued until she was 8 months pregnant. Nora is now settled back in Melbourne as a mum, backbone of Nima Tennis and tennis enthusiast. Since 2019 she has enjoyed working at Nima Tennis to help foster top quality tennis in our community.
